The Pfizer vaccine will help keep you safe.

The FDA has issued an extension of the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) allowing use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 12 years of age and older.

COVID-19 vaccination is an important

tool to help us get back to normal.

The vaccines teach our bodies how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19. In an ongoing clinical trial, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been shown to be up to 100 percent effective at preventing COVID-19 following 2 doses given 3 weeks apart. Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks past your second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Do what you love!

No more missing games, practices or other extra-curriculars! You won’t be sidelined from your favorite activities if you are fully vaccinated, so long as you don't develop symptoms.

What changes once you are fully vaccinated:

Go to school!

When you go back to school in the fall, the school year will be more normal. If you are fully vaccinated you won’t have to miss important lessons. tests or sports to quarantine if you’re a close contact of someone with COVID-19 as long as you remain symptom-free.

Student ID badges were given out yesterday to all JES students. Students now wear photo ID badges to scan in for breakfast and lunch. This has greatly sped up our lunch and breakfast process, allowing kids more time to eat!!

Students are very excited to have their own ID with picture!!!
